Hi Michael -

Oooooooo....a buckle dagger....sweet! I love these guys!  Unfortunately I can't speak with any real authority on this, other than to say your belt is for a 34 inch waist. :-D (sizes are waist plus 2 inches - so your 36 is for a 34 inch waist)

I did find this one, however, from Arizona Custom Knives that sold for $195.00. Several of them sold here on this site - this one looks close to yours.

https://www.arizonacustomknives.com/products/385199/

Not sure when it sold, but it was somewhat recent, as it was added in April of 2019. Does this description match yours?

"This is a belt buckle knife by Bowen USA. Has a double edged dagger blade, .179" blade stock and 1.022" blade depth, integral construction. Comes with a 34" black leather belt. Good condition overall."

In addition (with no surprise) here is an earlier iKC thread on Bowen Knife company and their belt knives. Do go and take a look - it's worth the read. https://iknifecollector.com/forum/topics/bowen-belt-buckle-knife

In my 5 minutes to look up stuff on Bowen Knives, I see there have been plenty of them made, lots for sale, and they all seem to get a pretty good price. I also found a few places currently in business that make Bowen replacement belts - assuming of course you already have the knife. The belts, although new, are getting almost as much as the knife itself!

I hope this helps.

Thank you Lars for all that great info!!!

Cool find.

I remember those being hot items in my younger days.

I can also see me trying to hold up my pants, these days, if I had to actually pull one out.
