Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Okay, I'm guessing I'm not the only person out there who collects Boy Scout knives.  I wondering if there are enough people on iKC to warrant a group discussing Boy Scout Knives  and their cousins (Camp, Utility and Hobo  knives)     I assume that would also include the variety of utility pocket knives used by the military as many share the pattern of  the venerable Boy Scout knife. I'm aware there would be a a bit of overlap with the Swiss Army Knife group, but I also think thet the people who collect both types of knives know where to draw the line and where to blur it.

I'm imagining a group that would not only discuss their collection but also stories about what they did with teir trusty scout while out camping, canoeing, hiking and the like.

The Group devoted to Boy Scout Knives, hobos, and associated camp/utility knives. (Including not only  the civilian versions but also  military patterns.)

While there might be some overlap with the Swiss Army knives, the  people who collect the patterns know where the lines are drawn and where they blur.

The group is devoted to not only the knives of this pattern but also the stories that made them great.

Tobias, I own only one and I use it. I don't even know what brand it is, it's cheap but fairly well made and has everything I need to eat. I have eye balled a bunch of old ones and I like what I see. Go for it my friend.

Robert, after talking with Steven, I've decided the wiser course to open a discussion within the Box full of knives where people can talk about these knives.  If enough traffic is generated, then we'll talk about a full blown group.

Great idea Tobias, I did that for Moose pattern knives, my true love, I hope I can get people interested in the pattern. It is hard to find them and makes getting one all the more rewarding. I guess you and I will see how our little patterns make out.
