I got it at a good price, so I decided that I'd make a user out of it.  Something of a character issue with the turning of a carbon blade.

The etch was a concern, for a while, but with the cleaning marks, I think I made the right choice. 

 One thing too, about this model is the blades are the same size as the larger frame.  There is some blade rub also which would affect the "collectable" aspect.

JJ. does the etching stay with the patina?

Looks fine, just darker.  Check the pic on page 1.
