Please help an old person. I am dying... a little every day. Only you can help and make my life happier. I have been looking for a Case Seahorse Whittler with the Christmas tree jigged scales. It was a SFO for Smokey Mountain Knife Works in 2002. I have all the other ones with that jig, plus a couple that slipped through Case's hands without a shield.
Please help... You're my last hope for a complete and happy life.
LTA... Ujcle Jim

It looks like this, but with pine trees jigged into the handle.

Good luck, Gary. Have fun. I had some surgery yesterday and haven't been on this thing in 3 days. I almost can't remember how to use it!
Take care, my friend...

Hi Jim no luck at Parkers Show but found out a little info and it's not good I talked to another Sea horse whittler collector .The Info he gave me was that Smokey Mt. Sold all 42 Sea Horse Whittlers to one man and he isn't letting them go . If I Hear anything else I will pass it on, good hunting
Well, THAT sucks! I saw a few on eBay in '02, but I don't remember them being for sale by the same person. Well, you tried. And for that, I thank you. I hope I can return the favor some day.

Even I don't have one of these and I designed them. Where on earth did you find this one? I would almost bet you that this is a counterfeit. This knife even has my exclusive shield.

Brian... ; )
Now... since you probably know, tell me about the Christmas Tree jigged bone in different patterns withOUT the shield.
I had one at Bradford last year, in my display, and Tom generously offered to take it inside and have a shield put on it. I told him thanks, but no thanks. He laughed. It was a doctor's knife. Since then, I have picked up several more without the XX shield. I think I have just about all of them with the shield, and several patterns without the shield.
I DO have one authentic Seahorse (without the shield). But that's a story for another time.
Gary... Got one!
Thanks for your help!
LTA, UJ
