I picked up this knife at a recent gun show I was vending at. It looks to be excellent quality. The name DOOLEY is stamped on it. I would like to find out more about the maker. Can anyone help me? It appears to be hammer forged. you can see some ripples in the blade if you look closely. I think it adds character to the piece. I'm curious to find out more about it.

Gene, Don't know about that brand but looks like you got a nice buy there. Great looking knife.

Allright. Looks nice enough. The quality of the blade seems ok. If you got a good deal or not would depend on the price you paid for it though.

First small thought that gives no value judgement though.]

Ripples in the blade can happen either through forging or through hurried grinding. So that doesn't mean that it's forged.

But the wood is very nice, the bladesteel looks good, the sheath appears to be mostly well done. It's a pretty nice knife.
