Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Good day guys,

My name is José Herreros from Spain, on the first place let me thank you guys for letting me be part of your community! I will try to be an active member of IkC.

As the titles says I come from Spain (Europe) and I have been crafting folding knives from more than 40 years, now that I am about to retire I would like to show the rest of the world my creations, that's why I created my website.

Unfortunately the new technologies are not my thing, I made a three month course and my kids are helping me with the photos, website, etc. I have no photos of my old and fancy creations that's why I am starting with really basic folding knives, I will try to have my website updated from time to time.

Thanks a lot for giving me the opportunity to join the forum guys, I will try to help and answer everything I could from my experience,

Best regards,

José

Welcome to the family!

Thanks a lot Lars! I will try to share my humble experience with you, I am old but I am here to learn as well! :D especially if we take into account that I come from another country and your cutlery is fascinating to me! :)

P.S: I am translating the website to English as well, it may not be perfect but it would help a lot to be in touch with you all guys!

Jose,

I LOVE that you are using the translator, no it may not always be perfect but it is a wonderful for way for us all to stay in touch.  I used the English translator on your website and it worked like a charm.  I not only enjoyed seeing your knives but also reading your story, what a wonderful life exploring and learning in some of the greatest factories from your home!

Dear Jan,

I am not using google translator in order to translate my website, I have been more than 12 hours translating it manually haha, that's my english :P, I am sorry if it's not perfect or flawless but I try my best to do it readable for you all guys.

I am putting a lot of effort and passion to this, I am an old man but I try my best everyday to improve my skills, even the website. In fact, I am translating it because all of you guys :) so you can understand everything I say (or almost everything hahaha).

Tomorrow I have to work, fortunately I have a couple of tailor made orders (great!) but I will keep translating the products from time to time so you all guys could read about me and my adventures :P,

thnaks for all the support Jan!
