Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I purchased a H Boker & CO Germany knife set this weekend. It has a knife handle and a number of accessories that attach to the handle,  knife blade , chisel,  drill bit,  hammer,  3 sided file,  2 sided flat file, saw blade,  leather case,  and a pair of needle nose type pliers. The case also has space for about 4 more attachments. Can anyone give me information on this knife. I have pictures but don't know how to load them. It also has H Boker & CO  Germany on all attachments and the word Germany on one handle of the pliers. The lever of the knife handle which locks the attachments to the handle has the letters DRGM stamped into it.  It is in excellent shape and appears to be used very little. The leather case stitching is shot and needs to be restiched. I contacted Boker Co Colorado but they don't know anything about it. Would appreciate any help at all.

Thanks

Fred

Hi Fred,

The tang stamp dates it somewhere in the 1919-1932 era according to Goin's Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings.  The letters DRGM stands for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster which means patented in German. Congrats. on a nice, old tool kit.

Thanks Roger I appreciate all the information I will keep you posted if I can find out any more

Fred, I've had one of these sets for years.  My set is a 3rd variant, similar to the second pic that JJ posted, only it has more pieces.  I'll try to post a picture tonight or tomorrow.  I'd actually like to sell or trade it if anyone is interested.
