I picked this up sometime ago. there are no marking to point me in a direction. anyone with an idea what and where came from?

Also, what re the dimensions of it.
I have no history on it other then I got it from a flea market. it is 16' total and it's 10' blade.

Just a guess here but it has a look of something from India.
I have never seen one like it, my guess had been Egyptian, thanks guys gives me another place to look at.
It is very likey from Tibet the handle is in the shape of the Stupa of Nirvana and the Pommel is a Lotus Flower. Given the simplicity of design and workmanship it was most likly the work of a young student as a form of and/or an aid to Meditation.

This stupa refers to the death of the Buddha when he was 80 years old. It symbolizes his complete absorption into the highest state of mind. It is bell-shaped and usually unornamented.
