Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This year iKnifeCollector is able to offer you a J.Mutz Custom.

Thanks to everyone that helped this decision happen.

Confirmed price is $112.00 plus shipping.

Payment is due no later than August 1, 2013

The body and bolsters are milled 416 the blade is 154CPM, with a 1/2 stop.  It is 3 5/8 closed and it is a Stag Cut Red Bone. Because this would be custom we could not order any more than 50 knives and his commitment is that he could deliver in September (maybe sooner but that a lot to get made in a short time).  There will be an iKC certificate with each knife signed by me.

45 of the 50 have been committed so there are only a few available.  Right now we will offer one per member.  For those of you wishing a second I have you on the list if there are still some available

I just had to share with you the warranty info on Jeff's page

It has a complete lifetime warranty on materials and craftsmanship. Any malfunction due to materials or craftsmanship under normal using conditions will be repaired for free. You can ship your product to the address found on this website but please contact us first so we know to watch for your returned item.

The "Catch" - Yes, sorry folks but we have a loophole to our warranty. The "lifetime" in "lifetime warranty" means Jeff's lifetime. Sorry but unfortunately when Jeff takes up residence at Boot Hill there will be no one to repair your product for free. Jeff's son Dylon is going to college and has no interest in continuing Jeff's business. But Jeff hopes to be able to warranty your products for many years to come!

Awesomeness! Although that blade looks really tiny compared to the handle in this picture somehow....

Really looking forward to hearing Jan's thoughts on the prototype when she gets it.

Double checked!  Yes you are

Miss Jan, will you start sending out the knives as you get them or wait till all of them are finished and in hand?

I will wait to see how they come in Robert.  I still have to get the COA's to Jeff to sign also

Yes Mam, I was just wondering. No rush.

jan you just made my day!... i guess you went with the idea to make the COA's up and then ship them to him to sign off on...AWESOME!!!   im in no rush either but am super happy about the COA... {i know i bugged ya about it...LOL}....

i cant help it if im a knife geek who loves my specs.we already spnd so much time,so many of us always asking where, what ,how ectect, when it comes to knife history.why make it harder ,always ask for a COA with your customs.IMO.

by the way do we have a hardness test on the blade?-curious. the swedge and jigging both rock.

also ..imo... i would personally again this is just my opinion,i would wait until they are all in hand ...its makes it simpler.. saves on ship ectect... especialy on shipping of the knives from Mutz to Jan.think about it- 5- 10 packs-40-60$  or one priority flat rate box, insured.i would take the one shipment.thats me.again i dont know all details ..like if they are shipping in something or not ,,ect ect...regardless one large shipment makes sense.

plus getting them all in,shipping them all out,is just something better done all in one shot.imo.

ALL IN ALL THANK YOU SO MUCH!

IKC ROCKS!

I love the swedge too, Peter. That's a great idea on the shipping, I have never shipped that many items at one time. Speaking about the shipping; I hope it's USPS. I have trouble with the others.

love it!  cant wait!

i didnt get an email either!

Got you on the list also.  I will send another email next week :)

Just thought I would share with ya'll the first knife received

Remember our commitment date is payment the first week of August (thanks to those of you that have made the payment already) and Jeff is committed to a Sept delivery.

I am so amazingly impressed with the work Jeff has put into these knives.  It holds in the hand well, has a fantastic bone and is SHARP...right out of the box.  The deep etch for both the tang and the blade are impeccable and just give this Gentleman's Canoe a simple, clean look and feel.  You can see the high polish and the beautiful swedge
