Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I am closing the original discussion regarding the 2013 knife.  This knife is being offered to the members that paid for the original 2013 knife.  Be assured if I have any left after the mailing I will offer them out to the membership.

Please see your emails for the announcement.  Queen Cutlery and Ken Daniels have generously offered to help with our 2013 knife.  They have said they beleive they can have this done in our time frame and have offered to meet our price on a Special Factory Order Knife.  I cannot say enough about this company and it's leadership. The knife will be a 3L mountain man, 1095 carbon steel, satin finish, Amber carved stag bone, a distinct vintage shield and the iknifecollector etch.

Now, can I say I am very excited about this knife.  The mountain man is a wonderful pattern and the materials and craftsmanship of a Queen are excellent.  I only have a photo of a standard knife (borrowed from knivesshipfree) so use your imagination on this.  Satin blades, Distinct vintage shield and iknifecollector etch

THANK YOU QUEEN CUTLERY

OK, Looks good.

I Like the Lanyard hole. LOL

And, a-yep, it will get used.

Question, will their be only 50, as the other one.

Or will it be opened up to another number?

I thank Queen for excepting your request. That was great of them to do this for so few people. It has been a hard row to hoe. I hope things are solved.

you have done good there gril keep up the good work

jan, i really had my hopes up on the custom,..at that price range this one would be a bit steep.. would it not? I dont think i would be interested in this one. i own so many queen with bone handles, and to pay that price would be a bit much... sorry.

Jeff,

The handle material is indeed the one in the picture.  Making it our own knife including the etch and the vintage shield, the specific steel and a special short run of 50 does make the price point different.

Tom,

I have requested the build be for 45 knives.  This means the complete product will come in between 45 & 50 knives.

It will have our shield and etch ?

It will certainly have our etch because Queen has that in stock, they use it for the blade keys

As for a shield Ken Daniels has told me he will personally pick out a vintage shield to be produced for our knives.  Something that was not used on the production models

nice work on the update and hats off to QC and their help and generosity.

It's sounding special, thanks, I'm getting more excited all the time, about it.

Me too, Robert.

I'd love to see that shield. Anything vintage is interesting to me. Especially, vintage things with a history behind them.

YEAH !!! a IKC CLUB knife coming from SANTA at QUEEN.....

Thanks QUEEN & JAN for saving the day for our 2013 club knife!!!!!!!

Sue
