iKnife Collector 2012 Community Knife/We Want Your Opinion On Our Next!

Moving forward in bringing to life the iKnife Collector 2012 Community Knife!!!

So far we are all in the pocket knife camp and we have had some great discussions about style..  Thank you Alexander for putting my thoughts into a language we all speak,

Frame first, then blades, then handle materials then extra's?

So far if I have been listening correctly we are looking at

Stockman

Whittler

Toothpick

Moose

Canoe

Barlow

1/2 congress

dogleg jack

My vote is for the Geppetto whittler.  For those of you unfamiliar with the pattern

SO TELL ME WHAT IS YOUR VOTE FOR THE FRAME/PATTERN???

I like something like a Toothpick, bone handles, slip joint with double end bolsters.

I go for a 54, Moose, thank you mam.

Ron,

The sleeveboard is an interesting pattern.  It looks like a mini toenial and comes with many different blade configurations.  At just 3 inches long, some folks find it a little small but I happen to very much like the pattern

and a good one.  I will see if I can get a pic of one on here so everyone can see the style.

I think we love them all Miss Jan, what's an old knife collector to do? Please forgive us, we will try to get our collecting more organizied.  Well...we might try...lol

Well if you can get yours more organized could you come work on mine???  You know me Robert (one of everything please)

Yes Mam, that's what makes it so much fun. It's like this, I have a few Hen&Roosters, a few Bulldogs, a few Fight'n Roosters Then, I have a few Case, a few Bear & Son, Queen, Great Eastern and the list goes on and on.....I just love this hobby. We need to just collect all of  them+. We're gonna have fun, thats the way I see this hobby going, I hope that's the way most of ya'll see it going. Rob

That's the way I cook, Robert.  Little bit of this and a bit of that.  Whatever looks like it'll work.

That might help some Jan perhaps a sleeveboard picture would help. Good discussion so far lets keep things going!

The Geppetto whittler looks cool. I'm more of a Fix Blader. I do like the benchmade style (osborne design) folders and tactical folders.
