Well that is the truth John. So glad you survived the incident. I have had a few close calls my self but thankfully nothing more than a scare.  You are absolutely right though sometimes the knife is right at the center of what goes on. It may be the bond between a son and a dad for instance or between a daughter and mom. In fact knives may bridge whole families where young ones are involved in the packaging and shipping of the knives or helping get them to the post office.

Its a great hobby and profession if you are a maker or designer or user/collector. Not too many quite like this one.

thats why knives are so great,it bonds us all.thats why i like ikc.family, friends, and the love of knives.

The love of knives bonds many of us from different walks of life.  I am just happy you are around for the kids and for us!!

You have got a good point there John - glad you are back on your feet.

thanks charles, cant keep a knife man down.

thanks, ken.on top this ,its me. thanks for your support.

to all my friends,thank you.

Glad you're still with us! Sometimes a scare makes a person realize what the really important things are.

John, I'm glad you are alright now.  Hope you weren't injured too severely.  I am sure it wasn't any fun.

I will say it sounds like you have a fine son.  Family bonds are so important and it is exceedingly good when they are strong and loving.  It is a fine thing that you and your son can bond through knives.

For my son and I, our common interest was guns.  I started him shooting and taught him safety at a relatively young age.  Then he was in JROTC in high school and excelled on the rifle team.  In fact his junior year, he was the top individual shooter in the North Alabama Rifle League.

I want to thank you for the knife.  I was really surprised when I got Hogs message that you said for me to keep it.  I greatly appreciate it.  You are just another fine example of the wonderful people we have on this site..

my pleasure charles, glad you like it.

I want to thank, both of Ya'll for being great IKC members. We have something "Special" going on here and I think, we all are starting to realize this. We have so many great members, Bless both of Ya'll.
