Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Good Morning and welcome to our first contest of the year 2014.  Let's have some fun!

On January 14, 2014 The Shot Show begins.  We all know this will bring out many new designs from virtually all manufactures.  Just take a look at who attends is massive show and you can get an idea of how many designs are unveiled.

So here is your challenge, from today through midnight EST on the 13th of January

  • come into the discussion and tell me what YOU want to see unveiled. Give me the company Name, steel and blade style. For every day you submit an entry, you get a ticket in the drawing.

One entry per person per day.

Be sure to stay tuned here on the 14th, I will have a discussion going about who has released what and how to find the info on the web.  I will also be releasing the name of the lucky member to win the iKC Gear.

I'd love to see a Texas Ranger knife by A.G. Russell in VG-10 steel instead of the usual 8Cr13MoV

I have no problems with the usual steel...but VG-10 is definately a step up.

Not fussed on the maker but would like to see a nice Bowie in brushed stainless steel with a heavy gauge blade say 3 - 4mm at the spine that can handle usage as a general purpose knife as well as a small machete if need arises.  Hollow polycarbonate type handle for storage of smaller survival type items but can double as a base for a spear if needed.

Needs to be even weighted and a solid sheath that hold the knife, flint stick and sharpener and that can be both belt mounted and MOLLE (or similar) compatible for fixing to a pack.

I would like to see Case remake the tadpole

id like case to bring back the longhorn pattern,in cv steel.that would be a knife!

I would like to see GEC make a "full-size" slip joint. Instead of their normal "80%" sized offerings.

I would like to see Queen come out with a new Moose pattern knife in a high end blade steel. A steel that only Tacticals seem to have.

I would like to see Case come out with a fixed blade Harley Davidson knife with a stainless steel blade and a persimmon orange bone handle.

How about this for a blade?  5" MIRROR-POLISHED SABRE CONCAVE GROUND SWEPT SKINNER

I would like to see Buck release a new model 183 Crosslock with an upgraded grip to add traction and an upgraded locking system, in 420HC steel.

How about a Queen, Drop Point, Premium Hunter with a Honey Amber, Stag Bone Handle? That is what I would like to see.

I would like to see CRKT make a Ken Onion design based on the foresight except with titanium
Liners G10 handles. D2 TiNi coated plain edge blade.
Instead of the length of 5-1/8 inches I would like to see it
4-1/2 inches closed reversible tip up pocket clip
Hmmmm.
I want to see Case showing a Large Stockman Bermuda Green Bone Pocket Worn in Surgical Steel blades!

I would like for Case to make a folding hunter with a gut hook on the stainless blade.
