Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I have in my collection 2 coal miners companions. I don't know the date or the value of these knives. One is a 2 blade trapper with black handles with 3 images of miners in hard hats and a dozer and a haulback truck on the same blade. The other is a copperhead 2 blade with a steam shovel and a continuous miner.

Can anyone help with the date and value . I would consider both to be near mint.

Sorry on the spelling of continuous. I believe  this continuous miner is a coal cutting machine.

If you can share some photos of your knives with us, James, I'll bet we'd do what we can to help! (Hope I didn't steal Steve Hanner's thunder by asking for a picture before he did!) LOL

I will have my son send the pictures because I have not mastered that area on a computer. Sorry but thanks.

No worries! We'd be happy to show you how to post pictures...we look forward to seeing them. Join us in Chat and ask any questions you might have.

Quite all right Steve but you are right we need pictures James, although your description is good an actual pic is most helpful. You know the old saying a picture is worth a thousand words. Also what is helpful is closeups of the detail like the tang stamp, the shield or etch or whatever.
