I worked as an electrician most of my life and that is the first 3 blade Kline I've ever seen. I did a little research and that hawkbill blade was intended for striping insulation off wire.

Adam- your knife dates to 1972- The " I' is the first year they letter dated their knives and right before they changed their stamp to Klein Tools.  The fact that it is a 3 blade makes it a little scarcer for an electrician's knife, which was Klein's speciality and the bulk of their knives.A very well made knife and an excellent user. Current value runs 3 or 4 times the $5 you paid for it, although I have seen them run upwards to $50. There are plenty of collectors of electricians knives, so who knows? Great find, IMHO---
