Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Don't you just love getting those phone calls from Market Research around dinner time asking you questions about things you really aren't interested in?  Sure you do!

The other day, within one of the groups I asked a question about BB guns.  and thought it would be nice if there was a poll about it.  I couldn't find a place on iKC for creating polls so I figured I'd see if I could  find a way to set up a poll.   Well one thing led to another.

Hopefully it isn't your dinner time, and I think it is safe to assume that if you are member here, you're interested in knives.  If you wish to answer a few questions on knives check out: The Gully Cat Cutlery Polling Booth  at http://gullycat.hegewisch.net/poll/.    I plan on loading more polls in the future depending on the responses.

I voted.

Whittler, Red bone ok but not actively collecting, I have a few trappers and like them, 760 all the way!

So far, from what I can tell, the knife industry knows a thingor two about marketing or the traditional knife consumer.  The Trapper is running away with "favorite" pattern.   I'm surprised by the lack of votes for Stockman and Canoe.!

In the world of BBs, Crosman has a BB/Pellet gun favored over the Daisy but  when it comes to combined scores, the Daist BB guns beats Crosman.

It would also appear the Red bone poll is acting goofy and will need to be reset. This was one of the first one's I created.  I must've done something wrong.  Stll, from what I can tell most people are indifferent to red-done.

Have to go check the poll out

And the latest poll question at   http://gullycat.hegewisch.net/poll/

is "What USA made knife brand do you most often collect?  (choose other to enter some other brand)"

As you can surmise, about five currently produced popular brands are listed but you can also click other and enter another brand if yours isn't listed. All previous questions are still listed.

Great poll Tobias!! Interesting questions and choices! Thanks to you and Gully Cat. Let me know when Gully Cat goes into print so I can subscribe!

A new poll is up.  The new question:

When it comes to knives, how important is the country of manufacture?

Why shy away from a hot-button topic?  show you opinion at:  http://gullycat.hegewisch.net/poll/

Voted again. This was a great idea, Tobias

Today's poll:

My favorite non-USA made knives are made in :

Several geographic regions and few countries other than the USA are given

Thank you and voted!

One of my weaker polls.  For all you SAK fans, I guess you'll need to vote Western Europe other than Germany or Great Britain.  I thought I had made Switzerland a choice.
