The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Hi:
I am looking for someone willing to bring this knife back from the dead. This was my grandfather's work knife that he used to make oak splits for weaving chair bottoms. It has sentimental value and I would love to be able to carry it again.
Not expecting "best in show" but just to replace blades, new scales and back-spring.
Looking for an estimate and/or suggestions.
Jim

I've attached a LINK that you may find useful.
It's a "Pocket Knife Repair Tutorial" by the well respected Mr. Dale Vincent of ORVET CUSTOMS, AAPK Administrator.
.
Enjoy,

Thanks for the info. I will try to start there!
