Yes Tobias, it seems that United Cutlery has secured the licensing for The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings replicas. I guess I shouldn't mind because it will likely just hang on the wall and will probably not be slaying orcs, wargs, dragons, or Nazgul. The Narsil is very pretty as well.

The fighting knives of Legolas are also quite stunning.

I have been very fortunate to have a brother named Gil Hibben who has made knives seen in over 30 movies and TV shows including Star Trek, Rambo III, Rambo IV and The Expendables.
I have had the privilege of getting a behind the scenes look at how these knives were designed and created and I have been honored with with handmade copies of the knives used in some of the films. I also had the honor of being involved with some of the projects, photographing the knives and writing features stories about the knives for Blade Magazine.
Here are some recognizeable knivs from my personal collection.
Handmade Hibben Rambo Knives: Rambo III #2 of 350 (bottom), Rambo IV # 2 of 100 (middle) JR2 # 2 of 100 (top - second limited editon of the Rambo IV knife with a cammo handle)
For a behind the scenes look at the deveopment of these knives see my website at Rambo Knives and Expendables Knives
The Expendables:
Handmade Hibben prototypes of the movie knives.

Jeremi,
Cool knife from Blade 2!! Keep collecting, I want the Sword from Sleepy Hollow (very hard to find) and some cutlery from the blade movies. If it's a movie blade don't be afraid to post it on here!!
