That's a great looking Kabar, Jef. I can't quite make out the etch.  Can you tell me what it is?

one more tidbit.. the small blade tang says union on one side and ser #082 on other.
the big blade says hmp89 on other side. which is prob short for humpback 1989 i believe, but not positive. well built knife tho. the box has the dog head on it,with americas finest cutlery printed below kabar

Did I mention that green is my favorite color?

My Victorinox 111mm Hunter comes in red or green. While many traditionalist brad the red model, I spent  a little more and went for the Green.  Not only is it a fine looking knife, it is an excellent tool!  It is also one of the few 111mm knives with the combo tool and might be the only one with the small gutting blade.  Definitely one of my favorites!

The Saw blade is excellent!  The main blade has a slide lock mechanism.

And then you have the deer on the green background!

i love the scout knives. very handy and usually very durable. love the green too sue !

Jeff,

You're not thinking of paisley, are you?  That design looks similar to a paisley, but I don't think it is...

Jeff the 111mm Hunter has been a while for a while ( at least ten or so years, probably longer).  I'm not sure if it is in the current line or not.  In 2008 the knife was adopted by the RAF for their survival kits.

While not green, it did come up so I'll post  a picture of one.  The small gutting blade doubles as a belt cutter a belt cutter. Strangely the Brits did not swap out the cork screw for a Phillips Screwdriver

Spyderco Digicam Military and Paramilitary 2 knives...

Ah Green Camo!  I nadn't even thought about the green Camo knives!   I See your Spyderco's and raise you a South Korean Gravity Knife, Ron! (In Olive, Kelly Green, Brown and Black)

Okay, Mr. Gibson! I'll see your South Korean Gravity knife with this Chinese Enlan EL-04 and CALL!
