Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

It's a busy weekend. Time to spend with family and friends.

*However*

I just wanted to take a moment to bow my head in remembrance. To say thank you and welcome home to all of my fellow Veterans who served our great Country.

And a solemn moment to remember those for whom we honor and celebrate on Memorial Day; The brave men and women who gave their last full measure of sacrifice on the field of battle and in the agonizingly painful days that often follow.

Thank you! You are not forgotten!

Please take a moment to remember and reflect upon the sacrifice that

so many have made so that we can enjoy our comfortable, carefree lives.

Thank you for your sacrifice. You are not forgotten...

AMEN!  May God bless all of our service people, past, present, and future.  Thanks Ron.

Amen.

Another AMEN to that.  We should remember and honor them every day!

thanks for sharing this post ron

Once again it's Memorial Day. It seems to roll around faster with the passing of the years. For myself and many others who have served in the Armed Forces, we are fortunate to still be walking on the sunny side of the grass. However, many of the brave men and women with whom we served were not so fortunate.

Of the 365 days in the calendar year, there is but one day in which we as a Nation, as a collective consciousness, take the time to reflect upon those who paid the ultimate price and made the supreme sacrifice with their lives. Today is that day.

I just wanted to take a moment to remember and to reflect upon all of those flag-draped caskets that, over the years, have contained the remains of all those thousands and thousands of brave young Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Aviators, who took an Oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Today is the day to remember and to thank them.....

Fallen but never forgotten!

Thank you...thank you all!

Thank you will never be enough.  Respecting the men and women who serve and our country is the only tribute I know of.  They gave everything and only we gained anything, our freedoms.
