Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I will be going next week to the factory to work at station to station to get a better handle of the manufacturing end of business. I am a salesman and marketing strategist so I haven't had the opportunity to grasp the concept of the entire manufacturer process start to finish. I will be posting my adventure on here daily. So please check this discussion every day for pictures and updates.

That is REALLY cool!!!

This part of factory also stores the dyes for everything.

Running through a sheet of metal to cut out blades.

Keep'em coming!

Using the press to stamp the blade tang.

Then after the blades have been stamped they have to be drilled and the nail pulls cut into the blade.

The blades are then sent to heat treat once they come back its down to the grinding room. The first thing that has to be done is flat grind them.

One of my favorite parts, probably because I've always been intrigued about it, was the grinding.

The Grinding Machine

The blade put in place about to be ground.

It's great to see hands touching the parts and making the knives!

What a great insight into the birthing of a new blade. This is almost as good as walking through the factory ourselves. Thanks for all of the pictures and the explanation of what's taking place, Ryan! It gives me a whole new appreciation for that little knife that I carry in my pocket each and every day. Awesome!

Wouldn't it be cool if they could lay out all the parts on a framed board and sell them? That would look great hanging on a wall!

It is amazing what happens from a piece of steel......... to our pockets isn't it?

Great pics Ryan!  I especially like the view from the roof ;-)
