Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hello everyone, I have offered to help the NKCA by providing knife images for their new upcoming website.  I intended to have a nice photo of every year Club knife, Youth knife, and Commemorative knife, along with information about each which will include original cost, handle materials, tang stamp or blade etch, pattern name, and manufacturer.

I am plugging along but I need help from anyone who collects NKCA knives.  Out of 100+, I still need 6 knife pictures that I have yet to be able to find.  You can view what is done currently by clicking here.  The list of knives I still need are listed below.

If anyone is willing to photograph their knives to be used on the new website, it would be greatly appreciated by both myself and the NKCA.  If you want to help, just take a picture of the knife on a white background (piece of paper) with all the blades open.  Do not use a camera flash, and try to reduce the amount of reflection in the blades or bolsters.

The knives I still need a picture of are:

1973 Louisville Knife Show knife
1979 Louisville Knife Show knife
1983 NKCA 2 year renewal knife made by Camillus
2006 Case barlow NKM knife, 1 of 100
2011 NKCA Club Knife
2012 NKCA Christmas knife / Zippo by Case

If anyone has any of these and are willing to let me use them for the website, please get in touch with me.  Thank you.

Carl

Anyone have these?

Have the 2011 club knife, also have a few Prototypes that were sent in for consideration but not accepted by the NKCA

Hi Vance, I still need the photo of the 2011 club knife if you would be willing to have yours shown on the NKCA website.  Please take a photo with the blade(s) all open, a nice straight on photo, with no flash to reduce any reflections.  I usually lay the knife down on a light surface, and use a tripod to take a picture looking straight down on it, that way it isn't blurry.  Then I can do the rest.  You can send me the file here through a private message.

Thanks for your help!

New to this site don't know how to respond to private message. Also posted a picture of the 2011 NKCA in pictures a few minutes ago.

Vance,

Hey, thanks for the help!  Just so you know you can send a private message to anyone on the site.  Just click on their name, when you get to their page look under the picture and click on send a message :)

Just let me know if I can help with anything
