Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

New to the site.  Not a knife collector but I have inherited a decent amount of nice knives.  Looking for knowledge on knives, specifically how to evaluate what I have.  Most will be sold to fund my gun collection but since I'm a novice with knives I'm trying to educate myself before I start selling them.  Thanks,  Chris.

Welcome to iKnife Collector Chris. The more you can learn about knives, the better. There is a lot to learn and I'll warn you...they can become addictive, lol! If you can identify what you have, that's a good start.

Welcome Chris, the love of firearms should not stop you from loving knives, alot of us here in the club also love them. You might notice one of our member groups is about firearms. The more knowledge you gain in the cutlery feild the more you may appreciate those little cutting tools. Please take your time with the knives you have inherited and learn more about them before you just sell them off, you just might develope a new hobby. Well good luck anyway.

There are several knives I plan to keep, mostly vintage Gerber, Randal, Remingtons, Keen Kutter and some of the old Buck Folders.  I

Your making a good decision there. Just the knives you mentioned may be quite valuable.
