Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Bought this knife last Friday. It looked unique, I have never seen one like it before.

It has 4 blades, but the size of a medium stockman. It has #2348XIV stamped on main blade and all blades are stamped with Kissing Crane emblem. It looks like a whittler with an extra blade. It is stamped Solingen on main blade and Germany on another blade.

Questions:  Have you ever seen one like this?

What pattern would it be?    Is the Crane spelling "Crane" or "Krane"?

What else can you tell me about this Knife?

Thanks a lot.

I have not seen one before. Here is what I have found on it https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&sou.... Not sure what the pattern is called.

Thanks Jeremy - that helped a lot.

Glad to help out.

Hey ken..that's the four master...yours is from the 70's they made several different handle variations....nice piece..

The Four Master, great, thanks Steve.

I have one similar. I think it's a Stockman Whittler. I collect Kissing Cranes. They were made in Germany, except for their Stilletos, which are made in Italy. They are now made in China. The ones made in Germany and Italy are getting to be real collectors. The China made ones make fine users.

bought two yesterday,a kentucky and a tenn, stag handles, etch is dont tread on me.bowtie shields.other blade stamped parker frost, good knives.see why your a fan..

Four Master, Stockman Whittler - for sure made in Solingen, Germany - I am excited to own this knife. Thanks for the comments.

Great fInd!!
