J.J., I didn't say it was effective now did I?

I'm not saying that the way they go about it is a good one. However the laws they've passed in the UK still allow for "carry within reason".

Contrary to what a lot of people believe no one will blame you for carrying a butching knife when you're a butcher going to his work.

Carrying one clubbing however will get you into all sorts of trouble. Although the law is somewhat limiting in some ways. It's really not that bad in other ways.
