Is anyone else out there interested in plain old Sheffield table knives? I have been intrigued over the years by the large number of different makers that worked in Sheffield in the old days. I have collected knives by 33 different makers so far from garage sales, markets, antique shops etc. They are all stainless steel so would be post-World War One. Would like to hear from anyone else with the same affliction - maybe we could start a group.

I have always enjoyed the many fine knives coming out of Sheffield England, although I have never collocted them. Please tell us more about them.

Jon, I support your effort. You might need to recruit some people to join but believe it or not we have had posts in the past concerning Sheffield. There are other fans out there, if you need help let me know.
