This is a few pictures of tornado damage at my house. Fortunately the tornado was about 20 feet off the ground when it went over. The main damage was to my roof and trees. Thankfully no structural damage to house.
This is my backyard. Power line about 6 feet off the ground and internet cable laying on ground.
This is my electrical weatherhead.
This upset Danny!
More backyard.
Front yard. Couldn't get to the front door after the storm.
These baby robins weathered the storm just fine.

Charles, so many near misses in these pics that could have been so much worse! I am thankful that you and the family were protected and well
Charles, we all thank God it wasn't any worse than that and that nobody was hurt. Many did not make out so well. We support Samaritans Purse who provide tornado relief in the areas hit and other US disasters.
Thank God Ya'll are alright. You can always replace trees and stuff but you can't replace people. Bless Ya'll.
I can relate to all that and more my friend. so thankful that it was not worse as many lost the entire house out of that storm. My wife spoke to friends of ours who live up in Northwestern Missouri near Columbia and were hit with either a tornado or possibly straight line winds. Huge number of trees blown down, and they had some damage to their chimney and several outbuildings and some fence. Violent weather for June.
Thank you all for your well wishes. Yes, we were blessed to have no more damage than we did. There were other areas of the city that were just devastated, total destruction.
You should see the damage we have had by numerous Hurricanes. A couple of Hurricanes ago, I forget the name. It took part of our roof off. We now have a metal roof that's a lot more storm proof.
Also two people killed.

Although we have plenty of tornadoes, we seldom have a hurricane. In the 27 years we have lived here, only one hurricane was still a hurricane when it got this far inland. I believe it was Andrew. It still had hurricane force winds and we are 300 miles inland.

Yea, I remember the hurricane Andrew and a lot more. So many have past through Louisiana in my 64 years I forget all the names. I'll bet Miss Jan has seen a few living in Florida. We build things strong but if nature is going to destroy something all you can do is rebuild after the storm.
Charles, glad you and yours all remained safe and had no major damage-I had a similar occurence house sitting my parent's farm while they were on vacation many years ago- I became very proficient with a chainsaw cleaning up all the mess- Just glad you all survived okay.
