I've always thought the whole zombie apocalypse thing was code for surviving natural and man-made disasters. Is that what others think or am I wrong? When you look at the books on Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse they are just comic versions of old books written for and by survivalists.
Lately I've heard it is a code for racism or a term used by right wing militias on taking over the government. Still others that it is just goofy fun.
Yet now I see all these crap-tastic green handle knives with idiotic looking blades. It looks like the zombies are going to win. I guess I'll have to just become one of those wack-a-loon survivalist again.
Stupid Zombie Hunter knives with the green skull camouflage. All I want to do is be able to survive a tornado or winter storm, maybe an unexpected chemical attack or Ebola outbreak. Is that asking too much. Does that really make me a crazy wack-a-loon?

I do see lots of green handled knives..... and Walking Dead is still a series ...
But you don't see a lot of green handled knives in the Walking Dead. They did have a contract with Gerber at one time. Not sure if that is still the case. That had to suck when you were beign chased by hungry zombies; having to pass up on other brands, hoping the next sporting goods place stocked Gerbers!
Endorsement contracts and surviving an apocalypse really don't go together! Something to consider when watching survival programs on television.
well I did see Bear &Son come out with a new line of Zombie Knives.....Kind of wonder how thats going for them?

I'm like you Tobias. I just want to be able to survive a tornado or civil unrest or a nuclear plant meltdown. (Of course that last one might lead to zombies! LOL.) I do have a nuclear plant about 15 miles from my house.
In fact I am prepared to bug out to our tornado shelter if necessary. We are under a tornado watch right now. The same system is already causing tornado warnings in Mississippi. I don't see as how wanting to be prepared for any realistically possible catastrophes makes one wacky. I would say just prudent.
Yes, I see that right there!
