Derrick Tappin of Nova Scotia came recently into my Radar... lovely knives indeed, with great heat treatment on those steels. I ended up with 1/2 a dozen knives, half of whick of my design. derick went out of his way to accomodate. His latest Cathmor design is really lovely: I just placed an order (He will go far as a designer, and the knives quality is very good. With Canadian $ at 2/3 of U$, those knives are a bargain to boot!) I'll add a couple og pictures more: one being our "Wolverine" Knife, a "pocket-battleship" of a lil blade

PS: go to Imgrum.net & search TripleXknives, click on it & you will see some more lovely work. Worthy of Collector's attention

It does seem that they carry a good number of manufactures and lines.  I see they also ship to Europe so that may be of interest to some of our EU members.  I dont want to see this turn into an advertisement so I will just say, go take a look.  If you are in Canada or Europe some of these may be harder for you to obtain without massive shipping charges, options are always nice :)

I have included a few examples of knife making in Canada. My aim is to exemplify "Quality". We live in a "marketing world view" that I find somewhat repugnant, not belonging to the "Trader" class. Some of the designs received my input, as I am the end-user. I like to nurture "Quality" and talent, where I find it. Customs and Excise can be a major obstacle, but I do also travel to Europe on a regular basis, so I can always "pre-order" and purchase locally. Chy Rose Knives (Adrian's Knives) is calling: next time I am in England I plan a visit.
