Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

We have a great group "EDC Club" and has a lot of good topics, but no place really to post your EDC. And you have to be a member of that club to post on that group. I have been using a couple of posts in that group for my EDC's but does not relate to the topic.

SO - how about an ongoing Discussion with pictures of what you are carrying today?.

What are your favorite EDC's?   What is your EDC lineup?

This will be for all IKC members, not just members of the EDC group.

So Post those Everyday Carrys and show us what you are carrying today.

Is it a big knife Ricky or a small one like a folder?

Ricky, I carried this Huntsman "economy"  (more correctly a  "Woodsman") for over 20 years almost every day.  They just get better with age.  It was Christmas present from my wife in  1985. The main problem with this model was it used a screw for the scissors which always loosens up.,

When I wasn't carrying it I was carrying my CCM GAK or a Camillus Utility Knife.  But this SAK was the primary carry. Still one of my favorite knives.

The reason it is called  a Woodsman is because it lacks the slots for the tweezers and toothpick. and was made before the age of  the hook for a back tool. People often call it a Huntsman Economy because most economy SAKs lack the toothpick and tweezers.  However unlike most economy SAKs the Woodsman has the inlaid shield instead of the hot stamped foil shield.

a lot of people think the Huntsman is too bulky for an EDC but I disagree.  It is a fine choice!

This Knife is going to work more and more, I was up in a basket lift, 40 feet off the ground taking a 4'x4' cover off a box to get some wires ready for testing.  My partner who said you get the lift driven down there I will grab a screwdriver to take the cover off.  So off I go in 16 degree weather 30 mins later we are up in the lift finally in position and he slaps his pockets and no screwdriver!!!  I whipped this old girl out and we where in buisness.

There is a lot to say for an electrician knife.

Carrying out to the farm this morning: My Case Buffalo Horn BH81-6 SS

Today: Klein Half Hawk TL-29 and my Buffalo Horn

still carrying the mini multi tool as usual but also have a small 3 bladed folder similiar to a whittler, will need to take a photo of it

HI Jason, Just like Tobias said , I think it is fine to carry in the pocket. Mine looks just like the one Pictured in Tobias's Post.

Hi Ken, that Case Buffalo Horn is to nice to carry to the farm.  Brian, what do the letters on the tang stamp of your knife mean ?

Hi Ricky, didn't realise it was a swiss army variant. so many different styles out there

Ricky, I know its a real nice knife, but I want to carry and use it. I am not worried about its value.

Go for it Ken!

Now, if it was me on the other hand...........If I used it, I'd have to buy another one for the collection! COL! (Crying Out Loud).
