Tom Chase is the one to answer this. I am sure he has a couple of these. I wish I had one.

I did send a message to Tom and to John as well. Thanks Brad.

thanks for the help its  a neat set

Welcome to the site and may I say...What a fantastic find, I wish I could be so lucky. I do in fact have the Same exact set, and I was very fortunate to get it in Mint condition about two years ago. I was also able to get an Uncle Henry set, Schrade Walden, from the same gentleman.

As far as value...I posted some information to your wall ....I would value this at $250 to $300, as long as there is not pitting and the knives are in great shape. I will also say that a knife or knife set is worth what someone is willing to pay for it...there are a lot of variables that influence their value such as age, condition, need or want (to fill a void in a collection) etc...

Are you thinking of selling it? I may be interested if that's the case.

I will do a little more research to try and nail down the age.

That display is from 1971, just had to go look up the year for mine! I hope this helps

It came from the factory to the store with three of each of the folding knives and two of each of the fixed blade knives as well as the display. The whole set retailed for a whopping $164.50.....at that price I would buy a dozen...LOL

Tom

Thank you Tom, I am sure that will help him!

Tom is the Guru for all things Schrade. Thanks Tom.
Not true Brad.....

I do know some information and I have a whole bunch of Schrades, although I am no Guru...lol

Tom
