That's a real beauty!!!

Hi Alex,  I saw that one on auction and talked a bit with the seller. I was trying to find out if they had any clues what the P.P.V. might be? Could be initials, but with the date like that it seems more likely that it stands for a company, organization, or most likely an event that happened in 1927. Do you know? Definitely a very cool knife!
