Gotta show off this 1860's vintage Wm. Jackson pen blade release with ivory handles and coined silver decorative bolsters. Just a beautiful knife that has survived in amazing condition. Thankfully I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to buy it. Anyone else have any vintage Sheffield Switchblades to show off. Please post.

hat's an awesome piece!
This is sweet !!! What's the release mechanism ... pressure on the pen blade ???
Yes pressing down on the pen blade lowers the main blades spring which unlocks it so that the kick spring throws it.
great looking old knife
