I love the stag on this 52052D. The blades flex .. akin to spring steel. Tis pretty too .. check out that tang stamp. Holds an edge great !!! I used it as an EDC till I went to buy a backup & discovered it was out of production.

I like that custom pocketworn damascus!

Great looking knife, they still make damascus knives just not in the *2052 pattern to my knowledge

Ivars- no actually I have probably 150ish that aren't "Case" but might include one of their family members brands. But Case made toenails probably longer than any other single firm. The only other one that's even close is Cattaraugus. The closed in 1963 and some hold that they quit making "pocket knives" at some point before they close up. One man told me probably around the 1940's was the last non-kitchen knives made by Catt. I don't know. But anyway, yes, Case made as a regular production well into the 80's. Now mostly they make what I call more commemorative ones....but that's probably not 100% actuate.

The Jumbo pictured is stamped W. R. Case and was made after it's merger with Platts (because it is "Sons" not "Son")...but in my mind it is a Platts pattern.

This is a Case patter 46 rigging knife you will not see in any Case catalog. This knife was an SFO (Special Factory Order) produced by Case exclusively for Smoky Mtn Knifeworks in 2003.

And actually, the knife was manufactured by Camillus under contract. This limited edition is a REAL oddball. ALL the rigging knives made by Camillus for Case in the last couple decades of the 1900's and early 2000's had SOP Case-look jigged brown bone or (post 1974) Delrin handles. This "version" is the Camillus model 695 but with with smooth yellow Delrin handles in place of the Camillus black.

Desert Iron wood 1 of 19.

Hi,

I need to take some pics... I have alot of interesting Case knives.  I have a little john Carver.  I have two different old push knives.  I have some 110 year old pyremite knives that have the most gorgeous handles.  I have a MOP german case mini that is really kool.  I have a number of Case classics that are serial # 00 or 000.  I love all my case knives.... I have some shaw- liebowitz that are pretty rare.  hmmm.... I gotta spend some time taking some pics for all of ya...

Cae Bradford PA  r1097 Leg knife found in a junk box at an antique store the handles were gone
This is one that I have read about but it is the only one I have seen. Pretty cool.
