The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Case and Winkler Knives are in collaboration to make a series of "American Heroes" blades. The first of the series is the "Case Winkler Skinner.
The Case Winkler Skinner picture here is a sample I received from Case. The blade is a 5.062 inch flat ground 80CrV2 steel with a drop point and finished with "Caswell™ process. This Skinner's handle is a skeleton-ized tapered tang, sculpted multi-camo G10 handle. Overall length is 9.6 inches and weighs around 6.7 ounces. The sheath is made of fiber reinforced black leather which is of the same or close to the same as Winkler uses with his fixed blades.
I have not had time to start my testing of the Case/Winkler Skinner but it is on my list of things I will be writing about. Check out the link below for additional information.

Now this is very interesting! I am pleased to see Case stepping out of the comfort zone and as far as looks, this is GREAT! I cannot wait to hear how it will test Clint. Do you know what Magazine your article will go to?
They certainly look good. I've been tempted to get one with Walnut handles.
