Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Today we began setting up for the Harvey's Hardware Case Event.  I love to work this show, the Harvey's are family for us.  Not only that an old time family run Hardware store that has been in place for over 50 years can be  fun just to hang out in. LOL

AND THE KNIVES!!!!!!

The memories in this store are just fantastic.

And they still sells nails in a paper bag by the pound

That's my kind of store!

That's cool.  My local hardware store is great but being in Chicago it doesn't sell pocket knives or spray paint any more thanks to stupid city ordinances.

Wow, that's great! I could really get a Case buzz going in there! LOL!

As always, just a wonderful down home event

A wonderful Gentleman Mr. Chuck Darby came by and brought his superbowl ring.  When asked if he wanted it put in a display case he responded, thats no fun, folks want to touch it and hold it!

He took time with all that wished to talk, discussed the local events, news, ect.  I heard him thank a teacher for spending time with our young folks.  I was impressed with how involved he is with the area.

Sounds like there are a lot of great people there. Looks like the weather must be nice also. Glad you took us along Jan.

Thanks for sharing and showing us a new place to hopefully be able to visit someday! How cool is that that Mr. Darby brought his Ring to let people look at and check out up close and personal.

If you ever get the chance to be at a show where Todd Hard and Brian Jones are representing Case, you are sure to enjoy being there with them.  Young, knowledgable and willing to talk knives.  Great Guys!

The beginning of the auction brings in a Florida Gator and good friend we all just call him Dr Butch.  He sells some very unique and hard to find older knives but you have to catch him at a show....he only appears online when we can sneak his pic in!

The start of the auction and everyone is waiting

Will on the right, has been the Case Sales Rep in our area for about 11 years now

Paul Harvey is behind him, Our local auctioneer behind him and a DJ from out country station in the plaid shirt.

This is probably the show I do, where I work the most.  We set up, manage the iKC table and the games.  Then help tear it all back down.  It is also one of the events I love the most.  It is a chance to remember the good in our Tampa Bay Community, meet some local knife lovers.  It give us a chance to show the younger ones that knives are tools, objects of beauty and knife owners are not scary but some of the nicest folks you will ever meet

I have met Will up in Georgetown Kentucky at the Littons house during a Case Event, he must cover a large area.

So tell me you bought that beautiful Toothpick and you're giving that out for the November Contest Winner!

ROTFL!

Great pics! Thanks for representing iKC! I can't decide who looks older, Si Or Donnie? lol
