I am pondering the purchase of a peanut and a doctors knife in the Sparxx series.  Totla investment on Ebay would be $75.00.  This is within ny limited senior citizen budget.

Has anyone had an experience wiht this series.  The knifes are light weight.  Is that a drawback ?

Would you recommed that these be part of my small colection of CASE knives or to carry as a gentlemans EDC?

Long answer to a short question.  I discovered the world of knives about 19 months ago.  I did the auction/yard sale circuit and bought every knive that peaked even a limited amount of interest.  I am now in the process of selling/trading some Schrade texas ranger and 65th anniversary knives to expand my Case collection.  I am Ebay surfing to get the best price for the Spars doc knife.  Should purchase soonest.  There is a knife vendor at the local monthly flea market that is willing to trade.  I hope to acquire the Spars lockback at this flea market at the end of the month. Of course I still have the knive collection fever.  I understand there is no cure!!!!

I have the Sparxx Mini Copperlock and am well pleased with it. Sharp right out of the box, good fit and finish, lightweight to carry, fits well in my hand...and that red Case shield sure does look good!

I have purchased the Sparxx doctors knife and toothpick. They are both Case quality.  The copperlock is next on my list
