I think this is an older model when they first came out in all black,but I am not 100%sure.

Hi Keijo yes a agree with you since I'm working in sales as Account Manager I can conform that this is the similar model for example wit Cisco Products you have the GPL - Global List Price and them the distributors give the retail partners discount from 31-50% depends on product and ongoing promotion. Ther for do not take the MSRP price as the actual price. Thank you Keijo that you reminded us.

Prices for XLarge espadas never been that high here, maybe now they discontinued, but were always mid 200 range

Oh i love G10, but if your going to cut the aluminum machined dove tailed bolsters and polished G10/micarta scales, at least knock 40$ off the msrp :)

I love Cold Steel knifes and also agree with you Chris but in my opinion G10 looks maybe like a cheaper design but also it looks more tactical and I like my big knifes tactical :-)

I cant say that i am overly happy with the new CS line up, demko makes such awesome originals, why use other peoples designs. I know, making something good better, but still. I wish they would keep the aluminum with micarta/g10 (depending on examiner) on espada, full g10 seems cheaper way out to charge same price, just my humble opinion
