NEWs FROM TUNA

Now, a new chapter has begun for Ryan and Courtney Daniels.  "Daniels Family Knife Brands" is offering the exiting new Excelsior Knife Company line of knives directly crafted by the knife makers that also design them.

They also are continuing the very popular Tuna Valley Cutlery Co. knife brand, marketed towards the contemporary collector.

Thanks to everyone for all their support over the years, and we hope to talk with you in person at one of the many knife shows we attend throughout the year! We have many projects on the horizon, and hope you check here often to see what is coming next.

Great looking knife Carl. I love the design. This knife was made to be used..and used....and used, then passed down to the next generation. Enjoy the knife and resist the desire to store it away. I have way too many I have stored away.

Haha, yeah, I like it quite a bit myself.  It may get a little pocket time every so often, to take to parties or church.  I doubt this one will see much use, it's too pretty to grime up.

Then again.. it would probably go into my collection and never see use..;-} I really like that knife ! as you can tell, I am sure..lol

I agree ! I myself, would almost be inclined to carry in a fixed blade sheath,so as to keep grime and fish parts from collecting and then having to open before cleaning.. but having not thought it thru.. might or might not be a good idea... but worth thinking about. You have a real beaut there and congrats again Carl.

Thanks guys. I'm certainly blessed with so much loving family, all within 5 miles of my house.  Jeff, no it doesn't come with a sheath, just a black velvet pouch.  I'm sure would carry just dandy in a nice custom leather sheath.  ;)

lol @ Jan.. Carl... I really like the shape of that blade,,it would double as a Skinner during hunting season. Again.. Really Nice ! Does it have a sheath? That horn slab great.
