Straight down on them is better. And sometimes it works better if you line them up vertically......and shoot straight down as much as possible. Also some guys will put some kind of ruler in between.
If I'm not happy with a post, I just delete it and start over.

Thanks Jan but what I would have done is just replace one picture with another one. Is there a way to do that? It seems I have 15 minutes after posting a post to change it. Other than deleting it I mean. Would my only option be to delete the post and redo the post?

Look up in the upper right hand corner of the post, you should be able to delete your own. I am not much a photographer but usually in you have them low so you can shoot straight down on them it helps
I deleted my posts starting with the first one I did today. I'll try it again later. Sorry.J

Here is my EDC today and a lot of days and why.
Spyderco Chaparral 2: The first knife size I prefer. Blade just under 3".
Queen small lockblade: This will do about anything I normall need and won't scare anyone I don't think.
Spyderco Manbug (modified): I carry this in a neck sheath or sometimes clipped to an EDC flashlight I carry (Fenix LD01). I've found I use a small flashlight about as often as a pocket knife. Do you know anyone who doesn't carry a pocket knife because they don't think they need one? I was like that with EDC lights until I tried it. I even gave wife one to hang outside her bottomless pit (purse lol). Now she can find her keys in less than 2 minutes. :) There's a pic of the Manbug (original model) with the light below.
Don't feel bad, I feel the same way, I do have a couple that I regularly switch between as my EDC's (both Buck 110's) I somtimes get a wild one to carry something different.....Maybe it will be my Camillus CM26? How About my Schrade Old Timer 25OT? ...now *here* is a classic 110 when they made the sheaths to hang low on your belt. decisions, decisions
