"Gator/Bear trap Snap" I have to use a Case blade pick or a GEC tube popper to open all of the #23/23LL knives. I have one arm and no brains missing with the GEC#23/23LL knives. Praise God for half stops.
Hey Richard , Do you own any GEC#97 Allegheny Coke bottle hunter knives. The #97 has a 5 pull . I have one arm. I hold the #97 between my knees/thighs and the Allegheny Coke bottle knife opens right up. GEC collectors complained about the weaker pull . "Nuts" TSA is an iKC supporter. TSA Knives has the GEC#97 Brazilian Cherrywood/beaver shield coke bottle Allegheny Hunter knives in stock. JSR Sports & More is a iKC supporter. JSR has some #97s in stock , but no cherry wood. The #23/23LL Pioneer Trappers are nail breakers with an 8 pull. My left thumb nail is brittle and I use a CASE XX blade opener or my GEC tube popper to open those "gator" snap knives. The Allegheny #97 is 4 11/16" closed --- 3 13/16" Sabre Clip Blade --- 3 3/8" sharp --- overall length 8 1/2" --- Stick the #97 Allegheny knife a Buck 110 sheath and roll .

Is the pull the same on the woodland micarta 23s as the beaver cherry ones? I just want a 23 I can open without pliers.
My white bone GEC#19 Little Rattler "S" knife came in yesterday. I popped it with leather Navy blue dye. I have a stonewashed blue #19 Little Rattler knife , now. I'll try to post some pictures later.
