Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hi everyone,

While we were in PA last month we heard talk of 2 new fixed blades that are coming out real soon.  The 50 and the 60 will be out in the Beavertail.  Now I am sure you all know that I am partial to the Beavertail series but in all the years I have been collecting, my husband Donnie has never been able to convince me to care about fixed blades.  I want one of each..what are your thoughts?

before I pass judgement on them what is the measurement on them I have some of the other great eastern fixed blades and their to small . more like a kid's knife .
Gary,
Great question, should have thought to put that on here

50 is 4 1/2 inch blade 8 3/8 overall with a skinner type blade
60 is same size with more of a drop point

I know that previous years they made a #10 which was a much smaller version but to my knowledge it will not be made in the Beavertail run at this time.
LOVE IT ..I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A 10..LOL
Nice to hear your voice again friend. You know I'm in for a #10 beavertail!!

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
