Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

HI Gang,

I did an article on this old company for Knife World a few months ago. Check out this beauty I just got from Perry Miller at Spaceport Cutlery. WOW!!!!!! is this thing sweet. I love the stag handles and the pinched, slanted, ringed bolsters are awesome. GEC makes these and of course does and outstanding job of it. Quality all the way around on this beauty.

Like my dad use to say "don't bitch, don't whine, go get yours like I got mine"

Hey David!
Thanks for sharing this beauty with us. Can you please shoot me your new email address. The one I have had for your for years hasn't worked for me over the last month...And if you did change your email you need to go into the admin area here at iKC and update it.
Love your new book and send you an email recently telling you :)

Mr. David Anthony,
Good to see you here. Had not seen you on since the GEC show. That is a heck of a nice looking knife you've got there. By the way, the book is GREAT. Whats the next project?
yeah, David. What is your next project? :)
Well to be honest I have wanted to do a book similar to John Goins on Pennsylvania related Cutlery. I have been compiling info for many years and feel comfortable now that I have more than enough detailed info and pictures to produce an excellent source of info and historical items for the collectors out there.

I am looking for financial support for this project. I have been very fortunate with my past two books to find those that are willing to support the process and of course they garner the bulk of the profits as well. Luckily for me I am not looking to get rich off the printing. If someone is interested in pursuing such a joint venture, let me know and we can talk further. The GEC book is an excellent example of using local publishers at a good savings. The benefit gets passed on to the consumer for a quality product at a reasonable cost. The $29.95 price of the hardcover GEC book with colored photos included is a bargain. Let alone the gorgeous cover. Ken and GEC pulled out all the stops and went top shelf. He knows how to do it right. This gives me the goal of another book . OK, I am done preaching. LOL!!!!!!!
I'm interested in talking to you about your new venture. I'll email you directly. I'd love to see a new "Goins" book. Lots of info has been unearthed correcting some dates/details, plus new knife co's info needs included.

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
