The Problem with GEC

The only problem I have with GEC is that all the knives that are made, are collector items.
I spend my money, get the knive in and it is just to purty to carry. Maybe you guys can make
an ugly knife. LOL , I don't think this will happen. But I keep looking. I want to carry one, but
I guess I'm just to stingy or something to carry a masterpiece in my pocket. This is my 2 cents
worth.

Just solved my problem with GEC,i got one Jack25,
but immediately new problem raises,now i want another one.

I am reaaly liking the GEC"s too. Got a few more at the blade show this weekend.
I carry a 2007 #23 single spey blade beaver pond. Have for a bout a year and the backspring works in nicely. Great patina. Peeled about 40 peaches for cobblers and its deepened some more.
#23's are my favorite. Have a few #73's and got a melon peeler this weekend. It has some very close tolerances and ryan said it was a good one to have in the collection.

Sure glad I brought this subject up, and am sure glad about all the back and forth exchanges about these wonderful knives. Some day when I grow up I want about 25 more of these purty knives. Looking really hard at that stockman
looking thing. EDC cause I am going to bite the bullet, and carry one. Greg, you got one that you been carrying around for a year or so, or Let me look and see if I see one on the EDC page

WELL I GOT A 48 PATTERN SECOND CUT BURNT STAG AND A 73 LHL PATTERN BOCOTE WOOD BOTH TO CARRY BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO JUST TO DAMN GOOD LOOKING TO CARRY .I GUESS I'LL JUST PUT THEM IN THE SAFE WITH THE TWO ST PATTY'S..I GUESS THEY WILL ALL BE SAFE,AND TWO MORE ON THE WAY.WHAT AM I TO DO....LOL..

The 72 pattern lockbacks make a great edc knife. Nothing fancy,just a good hard workin knife.

WELL I HAVE BEEN TOTEN MY DOGLEG TRAPPER FOR A WEEK NOW AND I GOT TO SAY IT'S THE BEST KNIFE I HAVE EVERY CARRIED AND USED...THAT ONE STAY IN A SHEATH ON MY POCKET AND FINALLY BROKE DOWN YESTERDAY STARTED CARRING MY LEFT HANED KNIFE AND SO FAR ANOTHER REAL GOOD TOTER..2 THUMD'S UP TO GREAT EASTERN......

WELL GOT ME A 72 SHOULD BE HERE TOMORROW....THAT WILL BE MY 2ND EDC NOW JUST ONE ONE EDC ..I BELIEVE THREE EDCS WILL BE ENOUGH FOR RIGHT KNOW ,SO THE REST OF THE KNIVES GOES IN THE TOM VAULT..
