that coating is hard to get off...lol

well I would like to see them develop the Johnson Adventure Line more ...oh wait they have: http://www.kabar.com/knives/

Still only see the Baconmaker as the only Johnson Adventure knife I would want.

Yes its on my list as well, but then I have said that for at least 2 years! You know what though, take a look at the Crewman. I really like the size, the shape and for just general camping or woods walking that sure seems like a handy tool.

It does look handy, but I have the BK2 Companion. The Crewman on steroids.

My BK2 is stripped of that rough black coating. I also plan on stippling the handle for better grip.

I am always a bit suspicious of coatings. Generally as a rule I avoid them. Lets see how your project turns out!
