Very interesting history on the moose pattern here. That's what makes this site great is the great discussions.

Let's see some more Moose pictures, please. I would love to see if someone has a hand made Moose from one of our great makers, even a picture of one.

I do love the information exchanges here, I learn so much. Wow, Robert...I dont think I have ever seen a custom moose. That would be neat

I put up a status asking if anyone had a custom moose...I would really like to see one

Bless your heart, Miss Jan I have never seen one either but would love too. There's so many collectors, collecting so many different things in the knife world it is astounding. Thanks again for your support of my little group.

The Moose is Loose, I just don't know whitch one to get? I want to see them all before I make up my mind. I really want a Primitive Bone, for a collector, but I'm open to all the Mooses dat got Loose-a.

Here is another Moose on the loose. I think I have all but 2 of the Rough Rider Moose patterns that they sell. The Once In A Blue Moon is my favorite because of the way they did one of the blades. They all look good though. I plan on getting the othersthat they have. Here is my latest buy, which is another 4 1/8" in the smooth yellow bone.

Wow, Those are some nice ones, Shlomo.

Robert,
Did you decide to get one of the GEC Moosses? Which one caught your eye?
Reply by Robert Burris on April 8, 2012 at 18:22
I'm still looking, I think their gonna make a cocobolo handle, I'd like to see it. GEC makes so many fine knives, they are a true gem in the knife world.

Robert,
The cocobolo was released April 5th. Should be at your dealer today or early this week :)

Yes Mam, I am excited to get my hands on it. I thought about getting one in Cocobolo as a user but I decided to wait and get a PM for my collection instead. This will be my first Primitive Bone, I hope it is as nice as I think it is.

Robert,
I am excited for you. Cant wait to hear your first impression
Reply by Robert Burris on April 27, 2012 at 11:27
Well I think it is much better than regular white bone. I'm sure someone could fool me into thinking it was ivory. I like it very much. I'll post a picture when I get a chance.
Reply by Jan Carter on April 27, 2012 at 17:55D
I am glad you like it and cant wait to see the one you got
