The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I have found myself looking at various models of Fox Knives. My searching has brought up a few more companies that I was a little surprised to see.
The 'modern' and probably best recently known brand has the following 'logo'. I think this has been in business since 1977.
There is another brand Black Fox: I am not sure if this is a stand alone company, or a division of Fox Knives (above). I have also seen it in association to Boker.
I have also very recently seen:
'Rostfrei' is German, and I believe it is a generic term for stainless steel. From what I have learned so far, it is basically the equivalent of 440A or maybe 440B. Decent, but not 'good'; and reasonably priced. Obviously more popular in Europe than the states. The FOX is all block letters. I have found a few knives like this, but cannot find much information about them or the company. Is this an early stamp of the Fox Knives company above? I really do not know. I cannot find anything either way on it.
Can anyone shed some additional light on this?
Thanks!

Black Fox is indeed a product line of Fox Knives in Maniago. The line primarily consists of outdoor use knives. While they are designed by Fox knives, they are made in China, not Maniago.
