Here's a bit more on the various knives available pre-1898 - and they'd be found wherever an outfitter was supplying the Trade right around the time of the Klondike Gold Rush, and before the Spanish-American War.

Again - this is by no means an all-inclusive list - but there 'are' additions to the previous list in 'Note VII' - so get out your pencils - and take notes.
