I'll start this one off with my favorite Bulldog;

The "Viking" model wharncliffe whittler.

Wow JJ, that viking is a beautiful beast. Love the stag scales on that my friend. : )

Great knife and a perfect example for Bulldogs quality.

hello everyone who a collectors of all kinds of knives,everone is welcome here ,and thats to jan..

good looking bull dog oh yea

I want to see someones Bulldog Moose, please.

That is a beauty JJ.  Is this one the spare?  You have one you use right?  How is it as a user?

Nice whittler, J.J.

oh yea another good looking knife,keep it up thanks tom

Actually, Jan, This is ome of three that I have, though one of each size. I had a friend bid on this from e-bay. Seller indicated that it had a spot (near the master blade tip) that he had cleaned. That negated the collectability so I decided to buy it and turn the blades.
Soon as my isp decides to act right, I'll re-post the results. (The'y're in my pics also).
The carbon Bulldogs do a LOT better than the stainless...

It's working better today, so here's the turned pic.

A friend on another site was wondering about the etch after turning.

JJ,

I do like how the patina comes out when that one turned.  I would worry about the blade etch if it were a user.  The etch is very close to the blade edge,  But then again if its an EDC do you care about disfiguring the blade etch?

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
