Hello everybody I got my fist puma knife and I love it.

Puma - Tec 315911 folder

Since this is a Germany legal carry knife it has no thumb studs for quick deployment the blade is made of AISI 420 Stainless steel handle scales are G-10, aluminum and AISI 240 stainless steel. The design is that of the Strider RC. I hope Mick is getting credit for this one since Puma is a Germany company founded in 1769.

Keep in mind some Puma are made in China then shipped to Germany then to the USA.  So they will have the German markings.

The unique features of the White Hunter are its complicated convex grind and the progressively thickening of the blade toward the tip. It takes a very experienced craftsman to do that right. Some may wish this blade were longer, but that would cause an imbalance.

anybody tried out the new Puma SGB Badlands? Checked for the micarta edition and guess what SOLD OUT!

Well I tried the Lonestar.  I have Donnie using the knife to give us a good idea of how the steel holds up.

OK you Puma Collectors! Puma is sponsoring a Pumpkin Carving Contest! Yes, surprisingly shortly after iKC announced it was having a pumpkin carving contest, Puma is sponsoring one as well.  Well here is an idea to double dip if you will in the pumpkin carving sweepstakes.

Carve a Pumpkin and make it a good one, use a Puma Knife. Send the photos to Puma per their instructions AND enter your Pumpkin carving on iKC (We don't care what knife you use)

If you are lucky enough to win both you are in great shape and a two contest winner!!!

Happy carving!

For Valentines Day buy your Valentine a Puma SGB!

Here is a picture of the first Puma I ever bought.  I purchased it about 40 years ago and at that time I paid about $100 for it.

And I have never carried it, I have always been afraid that I would lose it or something.

I guess because every time I lose a knife its always an expensive one.

I now have a few more but none compare.

WOW!  Look at that amazing Stag!
